Winner of the 2017 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition in Tel Aviv, Israel, and the first Pole to ever win this prestigious competition, Szymon Nehring was also a recipient of an Honorable Mention and Audience Prize at the 2015 Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition.

Szymon Nehring is the winner of the 2017 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition in Tel Aviv, Israel, the first Pole to ever win this prestigious competition. In addition to the Gold Medal, he won the Best Performer of a Chopin Piece, Advanced Studies, and Junior Jury prizes. In 2015, as a recipient of the Krystian Zimerman scholarship, he received an Honorable Mention and won the Audience Prize at the 17th Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition.His debut CD with music by Polish composers received the 2016 Fryderyk awardPolands most prestigious music awardin the Album of the YearSolo Recital category, as well as the Joker from Crescendo magazin, and the Supersonic Award from Pizzicato magazine. The year 2016 saw the release of the artists two albums: Chopins Piano Concertos with the Sinfonietta Cracovia orchestra conducted by Jurek Dyba and Krzysztof Penderecki, as well as Krzysztof Pendereckis Piano Concerto Resurrection under the composers baton. Szymon Nehring has given concerts in the United States,Canada, Israel, Russia, China, Ukraine, Estonia, Hungary, Romania, Austria, Germany, France, Norway, Italy, Argentina, Brazil, and Chile. He has performed with the Israel Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century, as well as top Polish orchestras, including the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, Santander Orchestra, and Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra. He has collaborated with world-renowned conductors, such as Jerzy Maksymiuk, Jacek Kaspszyk, Grzegorz Nowak, Omer Meir Wellber, John Axelrod, and Krzysztof Penderecki.
In the fall of 2017, he began piano studies with Professor Boris Berman at the Yale School of Music. Previously, he studied at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz in the class of Prof. Stefan Wojtas, with whom he had worked since 2013. Before that, he had studied piano in the class of Olga azarska for 11 years.
